Swimmers Jackson shares new track ‘Believe’

If you’re a romantic cynic who’s looking for proof that “love conquers all”, take a few moments to listen to Swimmers Jackson‘s new single ‘Believe’. It’s the follow up to his 2018 release ‘Pain in the Heart’, a lament about a troubled relationship. Now, the Dublin-born London-based songwriter has shown that persevering through pain is entirely worth it – he not only got the girl back, they’re now engaged!

Formerly a 3 piece, Jackson released two EPs under the name Swimmers – Swimmer’s Year (2013) and  This Burning Circus (2015). After moving to London in late 2015 with no band mates, he decided to re-work Swimmers’ songs into solo material. With this focused attitude, it’s not wonder that Jackson has released ‘Believe’. This unwavering notion that things will work permeates his work.

The track was recorded by Darragh Nolan (Ailbhe Reddy, Conor Walsh, Winter Aid) at his Asta Kalapa Studios in Wexford, and Matthew Sutton (Tayne, Sweat Threats) in London, before being mixed and mastered by Jesse Gander (Japandroids, Bouts) in Vancouver. Playing solo around the UK & Ireland inbetween touring with his other bands Bouts and Sweat Threats, Jackson has naturally caught the attention of fans and critics alike, and was named as one of State Magazine’s ‘Faces of 2018’ last year.
