Listen: TOORARETODIE share new track ‘Uno’

TOORARETODIE, also known as TRTD, are an alternative/rap group from North West & West London and in anticipation for the release of their debut EP Once Pure, the group have released the audio for a freestyle entitled ‘Uno’.

Inspired by inner city life, frantic love, lust & drugs, ‘Uno’ is an intense insight into the minds of two young males who have decided to share their thoughts about both their lives and experiences with various females. As soon as the beat kicks in you know the track is going to be something special as the ghostly, hypnotic beat, produced by DenJeezy offers the perfect soundtrack for L.Martin and Stash to paint their picture, with lyrics such as “Too much politics with partners where’s the patience/too much frolicking regardless I’m just waiting/that first lady had you patient/tryna turn your Monica Lewinski into your Sarah Palin.”

Rapper Stash said of the track,

“Like many of our songs, this was inspired by women, past and present. This song came from a moment of inspiration from L.Martin and DenJeezy, which led to L spazzing on the beat, reflecting on some of our fondest memories from high school to present. ‘Uno’ was finished 12 hours later when I picked up where L left off and reminded us of a couple stories. After we heard the two verses, we knew we had to share this with people”
