The NME award nominations party took place at Omeara, London on Wednesday 17th January. The party featured a performance from The Big Moon who have been nominated for their video to ‘Sucker’, which is in the running for Best Video. The girls gave an energetic performance and had the room singing along to hits from their debut album Love in the 4th Dimension including ‘Cupid’. Another crowd pleaser was their performance of ‘Sucker’, which had the room dancing along with the band as Juliette Jackson joined the dance floor, working the audience.
Both Lorde and Charli XCX have been nominated in four categories, including for Best Track and Best International and British Solo Artist, respectively, as well as Dua Lipa cropping up in multiple categories. The award party itself is taking place on February 14th at the O2 Academy Brixton.
