LIVE EVENT: Lord of the Mics presents ’10 Years of Lord of the Mics’

Every Grime fan knows that it’s an honour to appear on Lord of the Mics. Jammer’s basement, with its walls covered in the scrawlings of those who have been there throughout its legendary history, is one of the most important places in the history of the scene. Whilst the latest update in the ever popular series, LOTM7 has been recorded and will be available to purchase on CD/DVD in September, as the series is in it’s 10th year, a special live event has been announced…lotm

Lord of the Mics will take over London’s O2 Academy Islington on Wednesday 23rd September for one of the biggest events in Grime this year as they celebrate and present ’10 Years of Lord of the Mics’.

Following the much talked about and highly documented live clash between P Money & Big H at the first ever Lord of the Mics live event for LOTM6 in 2014, the team are set to bring an all star cast to the stage for 2015 as Lord of the Mics springs to life for one night only.

See the full Lord of the Mics 7 line-up, XP vs Row D, Lady Lykez vs Sox, Mez vs Trappy and Jaykae vs Kozzie all battling live; no holds barred, guaranteed action with plenty of Grime history to be made.

There is also set to be some additional clashes featuring DJs and producers to add another dimension to this already amazing LOTM event. Taking to the decks are DubPlate Mex battling it out live against Big Mikee, whilst top producers Splurge Boys go up against Grime heavyweights, The HeavyTrackerz.

With all that Grime action and an untold amount of original pars to hear, this is guaranteed to be one of the most talked about live events of the year. Tickets are available from Gigs And Tours here with special limited edition packages available from the LOTM site here. Make sure you keep your eye locked onto the LOTM Twitter for any new announcements and we’ll look forward to seeing you down there.
