The Libertines kicked off their three night stay at the Alexandra Palace last night (27th September) with a rip-roaring set that treated fans to tracks from both albums, as well as a few rarities. Although Carl announced the release of a new track with side-project The Jackals the day before, all focus was on the connection between himself, Pete, John and Gary which, judging by the audience’s reaction, is one that is yet to be recreated by the acts that have followed.
