Mikill Pane today announces the release of his much-anticipated debut album “Blame Miss Barclay” on 9th September and a headline UK tour this October. Produced by Jake Gosling (Ed Sheeran, Paloma Faith) “Blame Miss Barclay” looks set to be the most important hip-hop crossover record of the year and showcases Mikill’s charismatic, forthright and opinionated lyrics, earning him comparisons to the likes of Jamie T, The Streets and Lily Allen.
“This album is a story, and I want people to follow it from beginning to end”, says Mikill.
The Hackney-based, rapper-with-an-indie-heart has worked and toured with the likes of Graham Coxon, Ed Sheeran, Rizzle Kicks and Paloma Faith, earning widespread acclaim from media and audiences along the way.
Mikill’s October headline tour includes dates in Manchester, Liverpool, Leeds, Sheffield, Norwich, Leicester, Nottingham, Newcastle, Lincoln and London. He also plays Wireless Festival, Camp Bestival, Reading & Leeds Festivals and Shakedown in Brighton this summer.
