Mogwai announce new album ‘Every Country’s Sun’ and share new song ‘Coolverine’

Mogwai today announce their eagerly anticipated ninth studio album, Every Country’s Sun, due for release 1 September via their own Rock Action Records in vinyl, CD and digital formats.

The record is their first studio album since 2014’s Rave Tapes, and sees them reuniting with producer Dave Fridmann for the first time since 2001’s acclaimed ROCK ACTION LP; Fridmann also worked with the band on Come On Die Young (1999). It was recorded at Fridmann’s Tarbox Road Studios in Cassadaga, New York. The opening track from the record, Coolverine, is available to stream and download from today. Check it out HERE

The band have announced a major world tour, kicking off in Oslo on 10 October, taking in dates in Europe,  north America and the UK, and wrapping up with a performance at London’s O2 Academy Brixton on 15 December followed by a massive hometown show at The SSE Hydro, Glasgow on 16 December.
