Musicalize announce US rapper Nelly to headline April showcase

Following the announcement that US R&B sensation Omarion will be headlining their first event of 2015, Musicalize have just announced that US rapper Nelly will be headlining their event at indigo At The O2, London on Saturday 4th April 2015.

Musicalize Director Ben Anderson said about the Nelly announcement: “We’re really excited to have Nelly perform at Musicalize. He has an incredible back catalogue of music and he’s also an excellent live performer. We’ve seen some of his shows overseas and we really look forward to seeing him back in London.”

Nelly first debuted in 2000 with his album Country Grammar, consistently returning to the charts with smash hits like ‘Hot in Herre’, ‘Over and Over’ and ‘Dilemma’. His heart and sound was rooted in his hometown, St. Louis, which set him apart from all of the prevailing rap styles of his early years. Nelly never shied away from a pop-rap approach, embracing a singalong vocal style that made his hooks catchier than most. The highly anticipated show will see the rapper perform his well-known classics as well as material from his last album M.O.
