NEW MUSIC: BAIT share video for new single ’DLP’

If you’re frustrated by the vampiric nature of rental payments and you’re constantly being forced to live within your means; BAIT‘s new single ‘DLP’ is going to resonate with you. It seethes with frustration, but through sardonic lyrics and intense industrial-inspired electronics it manages to relieve some of that all too familiar pressure for a few moments.

Released via Cool Thing Records today (19th April) and produced by M R E, ‘DLP’ is another snarling offering from BAIT’s frontman and creator, Mike Webster. It follows the release of their debut EP in 2017, proving to be darker and bleaker in both its lyrical approach and musical textures.

Speaking about the track, BAIT explains: “BAIT isn’t just music, its ventilation, it’s expression through art. We all have a voice and this one speaks from the gut in broken English. I record my own music, I edit my own videos, I design my own covers and I work with people I love and respect… because I have to and because I want to”.

With a strong DIY aesthetic and an even stronger sound, 2019 looks set to be a big year for BAIT. Watch the video for ‘DLP’ below and follow BAIT on Facebook for more updates.
