Andy Phillips’ forthcoming photozine release with Hanging Around Books features images of The Stone Roses captured before and during the band’s iconic Spike Island appearance of 27th May 1990.

As Andy writes in his introduction:

“The day has, of course, become the stuff of legend. A rite of passage for many as their first big gig experience. Dramatised in film, and subject to extensive press retelling on every anniversary, now over 31 years as I write this. I was there for the whole event, from the shambolic press conference the day before, which led on to The Hacienda for a night’s warm up partying, then the day itself.”

As with all our releases, 250 first edition copies will be available from the release date of October 15th. Copies can be reserved by placing your pre-order now.

All pre-orders will be mailed out on the day of release (15.10.2021) or earlier if they arrive back from our printers ahead of schedule.
