Having spent time in a number of different bands, playing music ranging from jazz to metal, and having been taught by the wonderful Laura Mvula, it seems that Benjamin Yellowitz is now making a name for himself. He’s supported acts included Bonobo and Norman Jay, has played live on 6music and now seems to have found his own, unique sound.
New single, ‘Ash Wednesday’ offers skilled guitar playing fused together with elements of electronica and soulful, uplifting vibes.
‘Ash Wednesday’ is out Monday, 16th March, prior to the release of Yellowitz’s debut EP later this Spring. Have a listen here:
