New Track: The Black Delta Movement – ‘Seven Circles’

Making darkly appealing music is no small feat, but The Black Delta Movement have done just that on new single ‘Seven Circles’.

Repeated, almost uncomfortable, guitar stabs give the track a slightly unorthodox, but no less entrancing, groove, accompanied by some thunderous drums. Matt Burr’s slick, understated vocal, meanwhile, allows the music to breathe, or perhaps shout a little louder.

With a hint of Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, not just in name, The Black Delta Movement are that perfect alchemy of plenty of rock with just as much roll.

‘Seven Circles’ is the title-track of the Hull quintet’s latest EP, which features two other songs of similarly catchy garage rock in ‘Charlie Don’t Surf’ and ‘Southlands’.
