New Track: Glass Caves – ‘Out Of Control’

Glass Caves have really been ‘Breaking Out’ onto the new music scene since the release of several tracks from their debut album Alive. Following ‘Go’ and the previously mentioned ‘Breaking Out’, the four-piece rock outfit from Leeds have previewed a third track to be heard on the album.

Full of the same energy and rapturous melodies, ‘Out Of Control’ does what it says on the tin, with a pounding  onslaught of percussion and an untamed guitar riff which shakes both you and the ground you’re standing on.  There’s definitely a summery vibe to the track with lead singer Matt’s brash vocals offering a rather forward message of “Tell me you love me, I want more” and, all of which combined, gives the band their audacious attitude.

You can only imagine what a Glass Caves live show might be like after hearing this and, with a fan-base of high profile names including Janice Long and Dermot O’Leary, their gigs certainly deliver. Performances at Dot To Dot, Isle Of Wight and their own UK tour have seen the boys go from busking on the streets to making the Record Store Top 40.
