NEW TRACK: Isaac Gracie – ‘Reverie’

With a voice as charming as his name, it’s hard to resist using hyperbole when it comes to talking about Isaac Gracie. The songwriter has released his first piece of new music this year in the form of new track ‘Reverie’; and it’s a subtle, poignant listen from this exquisite talent.

Gigslutz recently named him as a ‘One To Watch’, and he’s just sold out three London live dates, and announced shows in Birmingham and Salford. Fans are keen to hear more of Isaac’s pensive vocals, and they’re displayed beautifully on ‘Reverie’, which was produced by Markus Dravs at RAK Studios. The new track follows 2016’s self-produced debut EP, Songs From My Bedroom, and the live EP, Songs In Black and White – both of which pushed Isaac in to the spotlight.

Melancholy guitar and gentle percussion permeate the track, as Isaac’s measured and majestic vocals see him contemplating the use of his “bravest face” whilst trying to explain that “I’m doing great, but darling, I’m just not okay”. As with his previous singles ‘Last Words’ and ‘Terrified’, he manages to transform moments of emotional paralysis in to delicate, sublime ballads that offer momentary escape from heartache.

The songwriter is due to return to The Great Escape Festival in May, and we’re sure this is the first of many precious musical offerings from him this year. Listen to ‘Reverie’ below, and follow Isaac Gracie on Facebook for more updates.
