Following their debut single ‘All For You’, Jackals Rose have released latest track ‘D.I.D’ and it’s equally as brilliant. Think Kasabian, with an added edge, unmitigated drive and precision to their fuzz-ridden noise.
Amongst the Kasabian-esque ‘Oo’s there’s a touch of Nirvana. ‘D.I.D’ is a little less chaotic than ‘All For You’, but thankfully still raw; it’s loud, but the accompanying video and no-holds-barred nature of it give it a sort of charming simplicity. The track is what it is – a bloody good track – and it doesn’t need any over-complication.
‘D.I.D’ is proof again that Jackals Rose are heading for the top – they know what they’re doing and exactly how to do it.
