New Track: Man Made – ‘Carsick Cars’

‘Carsick Cars’ is the latest and best single so far from Manchester indie trio Man Made. Starting as Nile Marr’s solo project, Man Made has progressed over the years into the fully developed and slick band they are today. The band have been receiving great support from the best music magazines including NME, Q, DIY and Clash and all the best blogs (including ourselves). The hype began after the release of their first single ‘TV Broke My Brain’ – a 4 minute whirlwind of music – and it continued to grow, with the band supporting Jake Bugg and performing at Latitude and Reading & Leeds festivals.

Fast and dynamic guitar strums start off this energetic-as-hell track, as drummer Callum hammers down over the kit with audible skill and prowess. Perfectly balanced sounds, which is no surprise; the mix was handled by the one and only Gil Norton. Nile’s spirited vocals have a real snap, an individual style that’s smooth, recognisable and incredibly captivating. ‘Carsick Cars’ couldn’t embellish the excitement for Man Made’s future more if it tried – there’s no stopping these guys from breaking out of Manchester and into the scary world of musical success. Their natural flair for great songwriting and the masterful use of their instruments leaves no doubt. Man Made are already on the way, just announcing their support slots with Sunset Sons on their upcoming tour.

‘Carsick Cars’ is out 9th March, and you can catch the band live with Sunset Sons:
