London based duo The Monday Project bring us adrenaline-fuelled heavy rock in the form of new single ‘7 Years of Tears’, complete with a video filmed and edited by Mark Higgins (Marilyn Manson, 30 Seconds To Mars).

Mr D jumps straight into the track with catchy riffs building into a groove of heavy blues. The contagious energy of the fast and furious drumming only briefly pauses for breath before plunging us into the chorus. The energetic riffs are layered against the pulsing, relentless drums before racing into a roaring solo. You barely have time to soak up the furious attack of guitars – with Duck Face setting the pace beside him – before ‘7 Years of Tears’ reaches an abrupt end.

If you’re ever feeling lethargic, or find it difficult to wake yourself up in the morning then ‘7 Years of Tears’ is your perfect solution. It has the ability to get your pulse pumping and the adrenaline flowing. Try as you might, you will not be able to resist the urge to start head-banging.
