Danish electro-wizard Sekuoia has released a new track, ‘Lamp In The Dark’. He’s accompanied by Kill J, who hits up some dreamy harmonic vocals on the tune.

Slow but by no means lethargic, the release reminds me of some of SBTRKT’s earlier work – which is always a good thing. Its slow tempo only adds to the track’s ability to really fill the stereo field with effusive synths and textured harmonised vocals.

It’s an incredible piece of chill; something you’d switch on towards the end of the night as the crowd winds down.

So, if you’re looking for a track that has a relaxing electronic edge that doesn’t blow your head off, then ‘Lamp In The Dark’ is for you. A sumptuously crafted track by the great Dane.
