NEW TRACK: The Big Moon – ‘Cupid’

Garage rockers The Big Moon have released their “first musical baby of 2016”, and it’s a fuzzy, slow-building corker named after the ultimate cherub, ‘Cupid’. It’s the band’s first release with their new label, Fiction Records (produced by Catherine Marks – Foals, Wolf Alice) and unsurprisingly, the girls have got things “perfectly right” again, as they did with previous singles ‘Sucker’ and ‘The Road’.

Together, Juliette, Fern, Soph and Celia have been causing a stir on the live circuit since their appearance at Brighton’s Great Escape Festival in 2015. They’ll be returning to the seaside festival this May, after their current UK Spring tour which concludes on 13 April, at London’s 100 Club.

The Big Moon have been playing amongst the musical stars on high profile support slots with The Vaccines, Ezra Furman and The Maccabees, and will be supported by Virgin Kids on their own headline tour. Make sure you grab a ticket to see them live, and let the sound of ‘Cupid’ romance your ears in the mean time!

‘Cupid’ is available to stream now and a limited vinyl will be released on 13 May.
