Rising indie-rock outfit, ‘SYFTA’ have released their latest single, ‘Flight’, a slow, tender exploration of the ever growing reliance on technologhy with in the modern age.
Chocked full of acoustic guitars and lo-fi synths, the track distinclty juxtaposes with their other, more raucous offerings.
Speaking on the single, frontman Harry Whiston said: ““Flight is definitely the most personal song we’ve got. It comes from a moment where I was waiting for an answer and left to struggle with my own thoughts.
“I think it’s quite a relatable situation to be in with everyday modern communications, you’re relying on a response and you are left waiting which leads to a build up of emotions that have nowhere to go. As a song, Flight represents that escalation of internal emotions which can often lead to a destructive outcome.”
The track comes after what has been a whirlwind few months for SYFTA, with sold out shows across the North-West along with a re-scheduled tour with The Reytons. Tickets for which are available HERE.
