Olive Louise says goodbye to the “Bad Things” in her life

New York singer songwriter Olive Louise unveils new haunting visuals for her single “Bad Things”. Soaring with atmospheric synthscapes and chilling expressive vocals which meander elegantly amidst blissful melodies, Louise has crafted her very own spooky lullaby.

The creepy video accentuates these eerie sounds, creating ominous scenes that you would expect from a typical horror movie. From being dragged off your bed, feeling the presence of others around you and upside down rooms, the singer replicates the perfect nightmare. The video symbolises the current status of the United State’s healthcare system and the stigmas associated with mental health, while showing audiences not to be afraid as we are all in this together. Louise shares, “The main message behind this song is that even when you feel like no one gets what you’re going through or like nobody is really listening, you aren’t alone and you shouldn’t let it stop you from being open. Don’t bottle anything in. It is okay to feel your emotions and to be upset when life gets tough, but then own that feeling, and let it propel you forward”.

Louise’s upbringing was spent submerged in classical and jazz music, which still infuses her music to this day. Her unique and distinct sound is a beautiful concoction of old meets new, fusing the very best of her childhood loves, with a fresh modern pop approach.  Watch “Bad Things” now and get lost in Olive Louise’s world.
