Ones To Watch: The Bedroom Hour

‘There’s not one inch of you I don’t want to know”

With romantically inspired lyrics such as these, fresh out of the London Borough of Hillingdon come The Bedroom Hour, ready to tug at the heart strings and capture your attention. TBH (not to be confused with the common text-speak meaning of ‘tbh’) are five experienced musicians boasting a variety of musical influences, who have come together to create distinctive sounds with heady, theatrical melodies that ooze emotion. Filled with reverb and traces of grunge, tracks such as ‘X Marks The Spot’ energise and uplift, whilst more ethereal numbers, like ‘Shadow Boxer’, will hypnotise and captivate.

All The Bedroom Hour’s songs do have some things in common, however; an unmistakably unique musicianship, a cunning blend of the band’s eclectic range of stimuli and the resounding, Editors-esque anguished vocals that flow throughout. Another thing that each song by this band shares is that they’re all pretty awesome, and – tbh – leave me wanting wanting more from this wonderfully unique quintet.

‘Themes’, the EP from The Bedroom Hour is out on Amazon, and available to download from iTunes.
