Parquet Courts announce new record ‘Wide Awake!’

Signed, sealed and delivered – the Parquet Courts boys have been busy and are finally letting us in on the secret.  A thirteen track album titled Wide Awake! will be in our hands come May 18.

The follow-up to 2016’s Human Performance has been co-written by Andrew Savage and Austin Brown, while produced by Danger Mouse.   It is set to feature songs such as ‘Almost Had to Start a Fight/In and Out of Patience’, ‘Mardi Gras Beads’ and ‘NYC Observation’.  The former is actually being released as the first official taste of what is to come from Parquet Court’s latest effort.

The track itself, as the title alludes, is one of two halves – both accompanied by visuals from Savage himself.  The tracks are explosive and ooze everything Parquet Courts stand for.  Their eclectic, original sound buzzes true on this track and we simply cannot get enough.
