EXCLUSIVE PREMIERE: Devon Seven shares ‘Everything Ends’ EP

Devon Seven is  the half Danish, half Malaysian, one girl wonder who’s fast carving a name for herself in the world of dance-worthy electronic-pop. An independent and proud musician who writes, composes and produces her own music, creating crisp electronic pop with melancholic lyrics about her life in general, falling in love with girls, and the heartache of breaking up, Devon Seven releases her brand new EP ‘Everything Ends’

Following from the success of debut single ‘The Real One’, taken from the new EP, Devon Seven continues to shine through her solo efforts. After previously being part of many different constellations with bands and producers, two years ago she finally decided to do it all herself and put out a couple of videos on youtube kamikaze style, and landed a record deal with the Copenhagen based label No3.  Having performed a lot of underground gigs in Copenhagen and played support for Peaches, as well as being part of the club-scene for several years as a DJ, Devon focuses all aspects of her life-including studies-around music.

Talking about the new single ‘Where Light Shines Brighter’ Devon Seven says:

“I wrote this song at a time when I was at the end of a relationship. Things were going bad between us and I was facing the fact that it had to end soon. The thought of that made me really sad, but at the same time I was feeling miserable enough as it was. I was trying to make myself feel better by dreaming there would be a place in the future, where I would be happier, even though I was feeling hopeless and lost.”
