Following the release of the single last month, Essex-based Bilk are sharing the video for ‘Spiked.’
In a grainy journey through the night, the video accompanies a track which, as lead singer Sol Abrahams explains, is “a story of when I went to a house party and I think someone might have spiked my drink ’cause I was proper mangled. And I could barely remember anything the next morning”
Following their debut single ‘Give Up,’ ‘Spiked’ is proof that Bilk do reckless youthfulness just as well as they do social commentary; they’re just as good at getting mangled at house parties as they are at writing hard-hitting songs. It’s a very healthy balance.
