PREMIERE: Bridges share striking new music video for ‘AMOR’

The now 5-piece Bridges embark on a string of UK dates in April, and to celebrate this they’re set to share their latest music video for ‘Amor’  directed by Peter Neill which you can watch exclusively first on Gigslutz…

Somewhat of an ode to love and life on the road, it acts as celebration of the varying aspects of touring, from a band which has always excelled live. The track has a wintery and maudlin feel which in turn helps carry the message beautifully. Ethan’s vocals soar at times, punctuating the hard hitting and emotion-ladened instrumentation. The track sees the rejuvenated band continue their output of alternative indie gems which are full of are raw, heartfelt expression. This honest expression is exemplified in the video, as front man Ethan performs solo to the camera in a stripped back, no frills visual. Explaining further, front-man Ethan says:

“Amor has been with us a while, and with us now a fresh line up it felt right to embellish for our debut EP. It’s a song that holds a lot of sentimental value and fond memories of sleeping in a van up and down the UK. Love, distance, time – all can be complete bastards, but at the end of it all you make things work. This new start for us moves with that in mind; we’re very excited to show the world what we’ve been working hard on behind the scenes.”

‘Amor’ is taken from their debut EP ‘On And On Like This’ (physically out now on Rose Coloured Records) and follows previous tracks from the EP; ‘Maths, Science & English’ and Ghouls.
