Premiere: Civil Villains share new track ‘Atone’

London trio Civil Villains are following up their debut double single ‘Fallow’ / ‘Pale Horse’ with the atmospheric ‘Atone’. A song that takes you on a journey, from the desolate slopes of a broken promise to the wild thrash of a kept secret, ‘Atone’ makes it clear that Civil Villains have a lot to say, and a range of ways in which to say it. Recorded at Brighton Electric studios with producer Josh Harrison (British Sea Power, Royal Blood, Tigercub), this is a confident release that grabs your attention and won’t let go until the very last gasp.

This track demands an epic video, and that’s what it’s got. In partnership with director Tobias Warren, the video is one half of a dual release with short film The Debt; the same story is brought to life in two completely contrasting ways.
