Carnivals cite the inspiration behind their sound as “60’s and 70’s retro-psych and pop”. There’s dark, brooding baritone vocals reminiscent of Jim Morrison meshed seamlessly with sparkling guitars, frenetic drumming and quick-fingered bass resulting in a sound that is captivating and fresh.
