The Velvet Hands today unveil the video to ‘Everyone Is Dead’, the sixth and last single to be taken from the band’s long player ‘Party’s Over’, a blistering debut that blends sharp, observational lyrics, Stonesy swagger with guitar riffage reminiscent of The Strokes. With the band working hard on the next album, ‘Everybody Is Dead’, a song about the year that robbed us of Prince, Bowie, George Michael and more, is the end of one era and the beginning of the next. This party’s just getting started. Trust.
You can catch the band at Cardiff’s best new music festival Hoyfest (Anteros, Himalayas, No Hot Ashes and more) and their last dates of the year over the new few weeks. Dates below.
