The follow up to critically acclaimed ‘Air Part 1’, lycio‘s latest offering – ‘Saharan King’ sees a seemingly more reflective side to the band.
In its 3-and-a-half minutes, ‘Saharan King’ builds, through pulsating rhythms and soaring lyrics, to a huge crescendo. It’s emotive, but consistently cool; yearning, but extremely powerful.
It might only be the second taste, but it speaks volumes of what’s to come from this Birmingham 3-piece. And it’s nothing short of wonderful.
