PREMIERE: Moderate Rebels release new track ‘When The Cost Has No Value’

Taken off their forthcoming debut album The Sound of Security London post-psych collective Moderate Rebels are sharing their new single ‘When The Cost Has No Value.’

Introduced by the group as “a load of overheard pub conversations, squashed into one song,” ‘When The Cost Has No Value’ is, instead, two and a half minutes of effortlessly beautiful exploration of our times.

Taken from an album influenced by everything from MGMT and Roxy Music to congregations in the churches that surrounded their studio, ‘When The Cost Has No Value’ is a perfect introduction: it’s completely unique, pursuing their manifesto of “using as few words and chords as possible,” and an embodiment of the freedom and ease Moderate Rebels feel as a group.

The Sound of Security is out on 8 December
