Having played the BBC Introducing stages at Reading and Leeds Festivals this year, and with previous singles receiving acclaim from the likes of BBC Radio 1 and Radio X, Nottingham-based Mowbeck have just released their debut EP.
Taken from the EP is new single ‘Vaseline’ – a heartfelt ballad filled with impassioned, soulful vocals and emotion-strewn indie-pop melodies. Of the single, singer Andrew Thomas says:
“… we wanted to capture a certain kind of feeling that we haven’t in our other songs. The song was written about the obsessive feeling an individual has when they can’t have something or someone that they want more than anything.”
