PREMIERE: Parliaments – ‘Giant Ants’

Parliaments are a three piece band from Northampton/London who blur the musical lines of 90’s grunge and 60’s/70’s psychedelia to create ambitiously noisy, grandiose rock sounds. After the release of their self-produced head-moving track ‘Creators Craft’ the band are now ready to share their latest track, ‘Giant Ants’.

Parliaments sought out the services of producer and sound engineer Jay Russell to give their new release the finishing treatment it deserves, and ‘Giant Ants’ sounds all the better for it. Echoic vocals, fuzzy guitar, deep bass, and sharp percussion blend together to create five minutes of visceral psychedelic sound.

The band are set to play a release show for the single at The Shacklewell Arms on July 12th (event info here), with  The Mighty Orcard King and SKiNNY MiLK supporting. If you’re in town make sure you head down to see them, but for now you can listen to ‘Giant Ants’ below. Follow Parliaments on Facebook for more updates.
