PREMIERE: Party Hardly – ‘Oh My God’

Here at Gigslutz, we’re excited to be premiering Party Hardy‘s new track ‘Oh My God’. It’s taken from their upcoming cassette Have We Got Time/Oh My God, which is due to be released on Witchgirl Recordings on the 23rd of March.

These “Northern slackers” have been working hard on their quirky, off-kilter guitar tunes, and they’ll be celebrating the release of their AA-side cassette with a show at London’s Old Blue Last on the 23rd. Witchgirl Recordings will be hosting the event, and Teen Brains and Barbudo will be providing support on the night. The band have developed a reputation for their raucous live performances, supporting the likes of Bruising, Diet Cig, The Magic Gang and INHEAVEN.

They’ve released a small number of singles, and their latest offering ‘Oh My God’ is three-minutes of delightful “slacker-pop” – equal parts apathetic and joyous. The track’s laid-back attitude is reminiscent of indie hero Mac DeMarco (if Mac DeMarco had a younger, British cousin who wrote catchy, trippy pop anthems), so if that sounds like something you’d be in to, check out the new track below.

Party Hardly’s cassette is available to pre-order now. Follow the band on Facebook for more updates.
