PREMIERE: Rooty’s debut single gets a remix from Ren Phillips

She’s written songs for the likes of One Direction, Britney Spears and huge TV smash Empire, but now multi-platinum selling songwriter and recording artist Rooty is stepping out into the limelight on her own and we’re massively excited to be able to premiere the official remix of her debut single ‘When You Make Love Your Everything‘.

Remixed by non other than West London’s Ren Phillips, who has been co-signed by the likes of Diplo, MK, Artful Dodger and Annie Mac, the track is a complete rework of the deeply soulful acoustic original. Rooty’s touchingly passionate vocals are simply sensational and they perfectly interweave with the infectiously catchy House beat, allowing the track to take on a whole new persona. If you’re on YouTube, you can also listen to the track and show some support here.

Originally part of the Funky House trio Funkystepz, Ren has shown on this remix that he’s a superb producer and clearly deserves all of the praise that he’s been receiving from his contemporaries. With more projects set to be released shortly, he’s someone to keep a keen eye on as we enter the new year.

Having already firmly planted herself at the centre of the music industry with her songwriting, it’s now ‘Rooty the artist’ that we’re going to be seeing a whole lot more of and already, after only releasing her debut track recently, we’re insanely addicted and eagerly anticipating our next Rooty fix.

Make sure you stay up to date with all things Rooty by following the imensely talented vocalist on Twitter and Facebook.
