Premiere: Seafoam Green – ‘Runaway’

With influences including Creedence Clearwater Revival, Aslan and Christy Moore, Liverpool-based Seafoam Green is set to release his debut album later this month. Recorded in Santa Monica, California, but oozing the sounds of Nashville alongside traditional Irish storytelling, it’s a charming collection of Americana-inspired melodic folk.

Taken from the album is ‘Runaway’. Filled with raw vocals and catchy country-inspired melodies, the twang of guitars alongside smooth harmonies makes for a foot-tappingly enjoyable listen. Featuring Rich Robinson of Black Crowes, it’s rich in both musicality and lyrical poeticism; an infectious and uplifting folk-rock jam.

Topanga Mansion, the debut album from Seafoam Green, is out 22 April via Mellowtone Records.
