Formed in Bury St Edmonds, but now making waves all over the place, psych-rockers Sun Scream are sharing ‘Extract’ their brand single and the colourful video to match.
The lead single from their upcoming debut EP, ‘Extract’ grows from dainty, indie riffs courtesy of guitarist Emily Wallace, before exploding into a cacophony of synths, driven bass lines, sludgy guitars and pounding drums – it’s a lot, but it’s good.
Climaxing in a solo from bassist Tom Lawrence – which producer Theo Verney described so eloquently as having a ‘distinctive honk’ – ‘Extract’ will have you hooked, and with it’s equally transfixing video, a super colourful animation, prepare to have ‘Extract’ on repeat.
