Reading’s indie-rock outfit Third Lung return with their third single ‘No Names’, lifted from the upcoming debut album ‘Gameplay’ due this November.

An electrifying and energetic new anthem set to light a fire. The track tells us that if you’re going to do something then give it everything you’ve got. Don’t hold back. Go big or go home.

They say: ‘No Names’  was originally written on acoustic guitar by Cams with an aggressive percussive guitar line. During the making of the album Cams and Tom had been experimenting with many different sounds and types of guitars and No Names was the perfect track to delve even deeper into this aggressive attitude. It’s the only track so far that is driven mainly with guitar and drums.”

In the build up to the bands album recording with long term producer and friend Michael Smith (RYP Recordings). The track came to life in one of the bands many writing sessions at Generation Studios. Cams (Lead Guitarist and Backing Vocalist) had been working on the track for sometime when she presented it to the band. Tom quickly developed the vocal melody and lyrics while Sam and Rob went to work on the rhythm. They knew they had something special.

‘No Names’ is yet another reminder of Third Lung’s writing prowess and progression.
