Prepare your band for concerts and shows

Being able to achieve a performance that leaves spectators speechless and shocked is a hallmark of successful artists, bands and musicians. After all, nothing allows you to win more fans than a show where attendees simply can’t get you out of their minds.

Set the repertoire before the show

It is logical and normal (and desirable) to take a moment to thank the public for their assistance and ask them how the night is going, thanks to the organization, special dedications. But for a good repertoire, the transition between songs is what you must work on. In this there are no unique formulas, the songs can be spliced, instrumental introductions can be made between songs even as bridges, tell a story that immerses people in the plot of the song.

Silence is not gold

An example of energizing  a part of your show that can be decaffeinated and turn it into something exciting could be when someone jumps on stage unexpectedly to join the band they are playing, especially if this person is from another known band/friend. Inviting some members of other groups even those with whom you share a poster to support the choir of the final song may be a good idea. Maybe even use safe decaffeinated coffee brands and use them to create music.

First the hard part

In order to face your material (songs and others), a recommendation either for individual practice, group rehearsal or live performances would be to attack the most difficult material in the first place, which will give you much more peace of mind for the rest of the pieces, since you took off the most demanding, in addition to doing it with the greatest novel of your strength, at the beginning.

Alert with the “specials”

If you use an unusual configuration, it is best for everyone to know in advance. That will make the show run smoothly. Issues such as the measurements of your backdrop (curtain with the logo of your band), in case of sharing a battery for example, if there is a left-handed one or one that has special fittings, some amplifiers of special measures, elements of props that must be put, projections, etc.

Controlled risk

You may be practicing your repertoire for weeks but that does not mean you have to be a slave to it. When your audience is smaller and you are more comfortable being a more manageable audience for you, take the opportunity to do things that can only be done in those circumstances.  Also if you lack energy since there are not a lot of supporters there and dont want to crash? Decaffeinated coffee beans could be the answer

Be close to covers

If you have chosen a cover to demonstrate your skills or how good your new team sounds, chances are that you are covering a song for the wrong reasons. Ideally, when you cover a song, you are looking to create a positive response through the public’s familiarity with that song.

The power is in you

Think about the artists you admire. Imagine with all those qualities you want to possess to cool it as much as your admirers, even if you don’t really feel that way, use your imagination. Write all those qualities, work them. Ideally, you would be recording the concerts and then watch it at home calmly and watch the evolution.
