PREVIEW: MC Tunes Bites Back…23 Years Late!

Manchester listen up. On Saturday 19th April Clint Boon, XFM Manchester, will be directing a Q&A with legendary Mancunian rapper MC Tunes as well as exclusively playing some tracks from the MC’s long lost master tapes from the follow up to The North at its heights, Damage by Stereo. The album, which has been recently rediscovered and restored, is set to hit stores later this year, however; if you want to be among the first to hear this hidden gem, you’ve got to get yourself down to The Factory. There you could catch MC Tunes, one of Britain’s most prominent rappers who helped take underground music into the top 10, discussing his music and his influences.

The night is sure to be special, listening to music that was at the foreground of the British hip-hop scene and fuelled many of the artists we know and love today- so it is not going to be one to miss. So get yourself to The factory to round up Record Store day with a night to remember.
