Finally, the time has dawned for Scotland’s most loved, anticipated and annually celebrated festival, T In The Park, to be given a new lease of life. With an air of sophisticated, yet traditionally, exhilarating excitement pumping through it’s backbone, the 2015 edition of TITP sees the festival making its debut at its new historically rich setting, Strathallan Castle. Pairing a ’boutique feel’ with a world-class bill to boot, T In The Park is the festival to attend this year.

Moving from its home on Ballado Airfield in Kinross-shire to Strathallan Castle, Perthshire, means that this year’s TITP Friday Main stage opener is set to make history. The band, bursting with Scottish spirit and oozing raw talent, who have been given the upmost honour of officially opening the Main Stage at TITP 2015, are, Prides. The trio from Glasgow, who formed in 2013, will bring their synthpop sounds to the notoriously energetic crowds of Scotland’s premier music festival on Friday July 10th.

Friday also sees: Annie Mac, Hozier and delightful indie rockers, The Wombats, delivering, what are sure to be, stunning sets on the Main Stage. Sam Smith, who last year preformed a phenomenal set on the Radio 1/NME stage (Now the BBC 3/Radio 1 stage), finds himself being crowned as warm-up act for the Main Stage headliners: the mighty Kasabian. Off the back of that Glastonbury performance last year, there really isn’t a more deserving act than the Leicester quartet to take the reins.

The infamous King Tut’s Wah Wah tent is set to be headlined on Friday night by none other than, Mark Ronson – who will be performing a special DJ set – and will also accommodate: Hot Chip, Lucy Rose, Fatboy Slim and Hannah Wants.

On the other stages, you can catch the likes of: Manchester’s Blossoms, Sigma, Ben Klock, the mesmerising Rae Morris, TITP veteran David Guetta and cheeky Kent duo, Slaves

When the sun goes down and the memories of Friday night begin to become slightly hazy, the second day of festivities kicks in with a bang and seriously: you do not want to miss this. Fronting Saturday night is iconic DJ, Avicii, but, there’s a special performance before hand from none other than the legendary Libertines. Prepared to blow everybody out of the water, Pete Doherty and co. will be bringing their nostalgic songs to the same stage which will be opened by The LaFontaines earlier that day. Pinch yourself, you aren’t dreaming: you have the chance to witness something absolutely extraordinary.

Saturday’s T Break stage will find the beautiful Elle King and Ded Rabbit making their Strathallan debut, while over on the BBC Introducing stage: Vukovi, Neon Waltz and Stillhound will be performing.

Across Saturday you can also catch: Palma Violets, Marina & The Diamonds, Alt-J, Seasick Steve, Twin Atlantic, Courteeners, Jessie J, St. Vincent and The Vaccines, who are making their gallant return to the festival circuit, due to the release of their fantastic third album, English Graffiti.

They say all good things have to come to an end, but who said it couldn’t go out with an almighty round of applause? The third and final day of TITP finds its main stage being headlined by a man (or group, as the debate goes on) who needs no introduction, a Mr Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds. Competing for the crowds on the BBC 3/Radio 1 Stage are headliners The Prodigy and over in the King Tut’s tent we find ourselves safely in the hands of Above & Beyond.

Sunday will, without a doubt, leave the surging crowds of TITP speechless when a certain Wimbledon man triumphantly returns to the festival. This artist of course, whom is set to blow everybody away, is none other than, Jamie T.

Alongside Jamie T, the Sunday bill is brimming with succulent acts to sink your teeth into. The group of the moment, Wolf Alice, Cassels, Modest Mouse, The Van T’s, Peace, Catfish & the Bottlemen and the re-invented Everything Everything, will all be sparking stimulation in the eyes of the precious few who have the chance to see them.

So, just in case you were still unsure whether TITP 2015 holds the best line-up, then simply have a look at the bill below. Close your eyes and you can smell the aroma or Tennent’s Lager, feel the adrenaline of bouncing around in a tent with some of the nicest people on the planet, and sharing memories with some of the greatest people in your life.
