The Queens of the Stone Age Play Benefit Gig

The Queens of the Stone Age played in Tasmania at the Museum of Old and New Art, where they raised over $20,000 for the Royal Hobart’s Paediatrics Ward.

Having concluded their internationally chart-topping album Villains, its 129th gig in Perth concluded their world tour. Speaking about the gig, Josh Homme said: “I sit with Brody’s Mum and enjoy the wild, utterly Australian beauty. I think MONA is a perfect example of Tassie individuality, so playing there is an honour.”

Following the gig, the band visited the ward to deliver presents and the cheque in person.
