ROLLA share video for ‘Hey You’ and unleash debut EP ‘Nothing Less Than Everything’

ROLLA’s current single ‘Hey You’ is flying, having been chosen as Record of the Week at XS Manchester and earned airplay from John Kennedy at Radio X and Shell Zenner at Amazing Radio. The band’s debut EP ‘Nothing Less Than Everything’ then shot straight to #1 on the iTunes Album and Alternative Charts, and ROLLA keep that momentum at a high as they share the official video for ‘Hey You’

The ‘Hey You’ video sends us in a time warp back to the ‘90s Manchester rave scene: a time of wild parties, wilder dance moves and throwback fashion as far as the eye can see. Meanwhile back in the present day, the ROLLA lads are out exploring the countryside. The video was directed and produced by Mamucium Design

ROLLA commented, “The video for our new single ‘Hey You’ is a nostalgic nod to the Manchester rave scene, we wanted to capture all the energy and enjoyment that happened at those events as it’s the kind of energy we want at our shows – loads of dancing, loads of bright lights and everyone having a top time. Get it blasting through your TV before a night out or at an after party with all the lights out and let the video be the party!

Also we wanna say a huge shout out to the guys at Mamucium Design for creating such a cool video for us again, they don’t miss!”

The release of ‘Nothing Less Than Everything’ will cement a rise which has seen ROLLA power into arena with Kasabian, opened for Happy Mondays legend Shaun Ryder, and earn a prominent #5 on The Sun’s 23 For 23 new artist rundown. It was recorded at Rockfield Studios during a week of self-confessed “creative carnage” with production from Nick Brine (Oasis, Stone Roses) and mixing courtesy of Gareth Nuttall (The Lottery Winners, The K’s).

ROLLA – James Gilmore (vocals), Luke McConnell (guitar), Luke Gilmore (bass), Tom Paddon (guitar) and Saul Bardsley (drums) – are now set to play the following shows, including a Manchester homecoming at Gorilla that sold-out a month in advance.
