Sacred Paws share new single ‘How Far’ & announce June tour

Glasgow duo Sacred Paws today share their latest single ‘How Far’, taken from their new album Run Around The Sun, out via Rock Action Records on May 31st. ‘How Far’ was borne of a riff guitarist Rachel Aggs had been noodling about with for some time, and a desire to try their hand at writing something a bit different. Nestled in the middle of the album, it’s a slightly twinkly, stripped-back meditation – a rare Sacred Paws ‘slow one’. Rachel wrote the bones of it alone at home (“A really nice, calm way to write songs!”) and brought it to a studio session to be built on: “It was sort of the first song we’ve done in a while that was carefully done, in that way.”

Sacred Paws also announce a run of live dates around the UK this June, taking in seven shows across the country, including at London’s Redon. The band also stop at Loud & Proud Festival in Paris, and a sold out MRG30 in North Carolina. Full list of dates below, tickets can be found at http://www.sacredpaws.co.uk/.
