SINGLE EXCLUSIVE: UK Shoe-gazers ‘Prince Bishop’ release indie stunner ‘Come Alive’

Do you link epic swirling anthemic indie combined with progressive and intelligent arrangements? Then you need ‘Come Alive’ and Prince Bishop in your life, now!

Brainchild of serial North East songwriter Benjamin Trenerry, the dynamic alt-rocker comes complete with soaring soundscapes and messages of positivity in these turbulent times.

Taking its musical cues from the likes of early Radiohead & The Manics, Come Alive is a unique, multi-layered song that fleetingly hints at influences from the band’s 70’s prog heroes.

Prince Bishop Chief songsmith Ben Trenerry, explains: “We finished ‘Come Alive’ and the album before the pandemic and we’re so excited to finally get it out there. We’ve been sitting on this music for some time!

There is a yearning for the transcendent in our songs.  It is music with something at stake, music as a window to the soul. We’re looking forward to dropping our new single and following this up with many more in the coming months. Watch this space.”

Whilst there is nothing retro about this band, there are underlying pastoral and dreamy tinges that hint at 70’s outsider bands such as the likes of ELO, Supertramp, Caravan and King Crimson.

The next few months in Price Bishop world will see the build up to the release of their debut album ‘All is Due’ in 2022.

‘Come Alive’ will be released on 19th November via all things digital. Do yourself a favour, and check out the video here right now!
