Slowdive announce three tiny club shows

Slowdive have announced they’ll be playing their first club shows for over 20 years.

The UK stint of the European tour will see Slowdive playing three shows in Glasgow, Liverpool and Bristol. These will take place on March 27, 28 and 30 respectively. They’re also set to play Field Day in Victoria Park, London on June 3. The intimate shows are set to be a mix of old classics and new material, in an up close and personal setting.

Slowdive reunited in 2014, 22 years after they disbanded. They released three albums before their break up, Just For A Day (1991), Souvlaki (1993) and Pygmalion (1995). Their intention in regrouping was to release new music, which finally happened in January with the release of their single ‘Star Roving’ through Dead Oceans.

Slowdive will play:

March
27 – Glasgow, The Art School
28 – Liverpool, Art Club
30 – Bristol Fleece
