Tears For Fears Cover Hot Chip’s ‘And I Was A Boy From School’ – LISTEN NOW

In the wise words of Gigslutz editor Steve, who doesn’t like Tears For Fears? The new wavers have surprised fans with a cover of Hot Chip’s ‘And I Was A Boy From School’ in a bid to show “some reciprocal cross-generational love” to the band who list Tears For Fears as a keen influence on their music and have been known to record covers of their songs too.

Extra weight can be given to these covers as they mark the 30th anniversary of Tears For Fears’ debut album ‘The Hurting’ (1983). It’s also a means of kick starting their creativity in the run up to a new album, set for release next year.
