The Futureheads reveal ‘Good Night Out’ Video

Following recent performances at Electric Fields, Tramlines, Latitude and Truck, The Futureheads reveal the video for current single ‘Good Night Out’.

It’s the second single to be taken from their forthcoming album ‘Powers’, which is released on Nul Records via The Orchard on 30th August. The song was inspired by John McGrath’s 1981 book, A Good Night Out, which the band describe as being about “art and the working class and how big ideas can be for everyone.”

The video, directed by Marta Brodacka, “is about how a sunny day gets us out into the streets and onto the beach, together,” the band says. “It’s about the arts world and its old-boys network and how important issues are easily forgotten when there’s the zeitgeist to consider and entertainment to be made.”
