The Garden have announced that they’ll be returning to the UK later this year for a run of nine live dates.
LA’s neo-electrix-glam punk twins, The Garden will play a special Halloween show at Ramsgate Music Hall on October 31, and then move onto Nottingham, Bristol, Brighton, London, Birmingham, Manchester, Glasgow and finally Leeds’ Headrow House on November 8 as part of Beacons Metro.
Wyatt and Fletcher Shears, aka The Garden, are known for their defiance of categorisation, creating their own genre of ‘Vada Vada’, described by Wyatt as “an idea that represents pure creative expression, that disregards all previously made genres and ideals.” The duo are also notorious for the experimental live shows that see them dancing along with their infusion of 90s hip hop, big beat electronica and punk classicism; they are said to be “acidic concoction; unstable, sexy and probably toxic“.
They are releasing their latest album Haha later this year on October 9, and features already well-loved tracks ‘Cloak’, ‘Crystal Clear’ and ‘We Be Grindin’, which have been debuted in their previous live shows.
