The costume for the ventriloquist took six days to make, which has been confirmed to be Damon Albarn. 

In both tracks ‘Merrie Land’ and ‘Gun To The Head’, Albarn is hidden with prosthetics. Millennium FX made the piece, which took six days to make. First, they took a mould of Albarn’s face, before sculpting it over two days.

The band consist of Blur’s Damon Albarn, The Clash’s Paul Simonon, The Verve’s Simon Tong and Fela Kuti’s Tommy Allen. They shared the track ‘Merrie Land’ last month, which will be the title track of their album out on 16th November.
